Tennessee is in the process of review and adoption of new curriculum standards.
The Spring 2008 TCAP will test mastery of current SPIs. The Spring 2009 TCAP will test mastery of current SPIs and will include pilot items for these new standards, called grade level expectations. The Spring 2010 TCAP will measure mastery of only the new grade level expectations. Current curriculum standards (SPIs) will not be tested. Educators and the public are asked to review the new standards and make comments.
